Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Draft placeholder. This page is a starting template, not a finished legal document, it should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before it goes live, and kept in sync with whatever analytics or marketing tools you actually add later.
1. What cookies we use
Edge Journal uses a small number of cookies, we don’t use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.
- Essential / authentication cookies, set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you securely logged in. Without these, the app can’t tell that you’re signed in, so it can’t work.
- Payment cookies, set by Stripe during checkout, to securely process your payment and prevent fraud.
2. Cookies we don’t use
We don’t currently use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and, where required by law, we’ll ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
3. Managing cookies
Because the cookies we use are essential to signing in and processing payment, you can’t opt out of them and keep using Edge Journal. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.
